“The world is a book and those who don’t travel only read one page.” From many countries around the world USA is one of the dream countries which a lot of people want to visit once in their life. I’m very lucky to have the opportunity to come with the work and travel program in USA. Working and traveling abroad are the dream of me. Since I was young I saw my parents worked and traveled and it is really good to get new experiences from everything they have met. I’m a girl who love traveling no matter where it is everywhere is worth for me. There are many reasons why I come to USA and the good reason is it can help me get better in English skill, make me learn and gain lots of hings I can’t find in the university or the classrooms and the adventures can make me know where I truly belong. “Lifeguard” is my job in USA that I work for Premier aquatics which is a pool management company serving its commercial and residential customers. Being lifeguard isn’t hard but it isn’t easy as well because the lifeguard has the important responsibilities to take care and rescue people and make sure for the safety of people in the pool. Also they have to know how to help prevent drownings and they have to be good at swimming and be strong swimmers and trained in CPR/AEDfirst aid. From this job I have chances to help people from drowning especially kids. In each day, we don’t know what will happen, but we have to do our best that means nobody gets hurt or drowned. For living in USA, I live with 5 roommates and we are all lifeguard. We come from different countries only me and my friends from Thailand and another from Slovakia and Poland. To live with people in different countries it isn’t easy at first time because we have different cultures but we are all know how to live together that makes our room has a good environment and no pressure. In everyday, I learn new words from them and we also exchange our cultures of each other, and we sometimes go traveling and shopping together. Even I work for premier aquatics company but I have new friends from another pool company as well due to they live in the same apartment and we accidentally meet during the way to buy some food. After we have met we also keep in touch and they always invite me to go to party. The thing that I learn from them is they are responsible for their job because they party is really late but they can go to work tomorrow. More than working I have chances to travel in any places both trip from my company and trip that I have planed with my friends. Many people said that travel is only thing you buy that makes you richer it’s really true.

For 4 months in USA I think it isn’t enough for me and if I have chances I would like to stay longer because there are many things I didn’t do yet and there are many interesting places to travel. To be honest, I’m really happy to come to USA getting new friends, experiences and it is the unforgettable memories. See you again USA.
